~Held~

Colossians 1
(16) For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. (17) He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.


"In Him all things hold together". 
     There is a type of protein in our body that is literally holding us together! This structure is called Laminin. It is the base of the cells, binding us together. Millions of this "cellular glue" particles, are keeping us in one piece! Now, I can't explain it as well as Louie Giglio can, but I know when I was done watching this video, I didn't have many words.... and still don't, and that was two years ago!! 
In all honesty, we don't realize what a BIG and AMAZING God we serve!! He is unfathomable! We cannot wrap our brain around how big and powerful He is!! 


     God reminds me of this every once and awhile, and every time I get so excited! Where I can't even put my self in words! It's a reminder that he is LIVING in us! He is holding us together...literally! I get chills, and start to get overwhelmed and worked up, thinking about how awesome our God is! What a crazy thing such a small thing is! I can't even put my thoughts into words that wouldn't be more repetitive than they are now! haha Knowing God shaped this protein together in that way blows my mind, He tucks little messages everywhere. Letting us know that He is in control, and He takes care of our problems and when we feel like we are falling apart he reminds us that HE is holding us together... the way He wants it to be!  


     This video will get you thinking, and God will remind you of His power....



God has a sense of creativity.... and humor!

     God tucks little reminders of how amazing he is in little things. Such as in a sand-dollars. When you open one up, there is a piece shaped like a dove. The symbol of peace, the Holy Spirit. Another one is a Cotton-Wood tree, the little twigs off of it, have multiple "knuckles" on it. If you break a dry piece of this wood, right where the knuckle is, if broken just right, there is a darker shade, that is shaped like a star! The other example I can think of is a black hole in the universe. The middle of the Whirlpool Galaxy (M51), is shaped like.... a cross.



     It't that just amazing!! What a breathtaking God we serve. He deserves all the praise in the world! I have a picture of Laminin on my wall, just to remind me that God is in control, and he holds the world in his hands.
